Parks & Recreation
Stallion Springs runs its own Parks and Recreation Department that is not part of the Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Parks Department. Contact the District office 661-822-3268 for more information.
Activities include... Free Open Gym, Skate Night, Dance Classes, Volleyball, Family Movie Night, Swimming, Christmas Caroling, Breakfast with Santa, Exercise Classes, and much more.

Ladies' Craft Night
Thursday, June 23rd @ 6pm
$10.00 Greeting Cards with a decorated box.
Come dressed in white and be ready for a walk/run full of colorful fun at our annual family-friendly 5K. Protective eyewear recommended.
When: Saturday, May 21
Cost: $10 if you register by May 15and $15 the day of the event.
Sign in at 9 am; race begins at 9:30 am. All participants will meet at the Community Center. All ages welcome. Kids under 12 MUST be accompanied by an adult. NO DOGS ALLOWED.
Every Friday night from 6-7 pm. Bring the family for a fun-filled hour of FREE skating inside the gym. Snack bar will be open. Helmets required. Skates & scooters ONLY.

June 10th come to Open Gym and make a FREE gift for Father’s Day. Ages 7 and up.

SWIMMING POOL INFORMATION
The SSCSD will be hiring Certified Lifeguards in May 2016 for the summer season. Call the CSD office for more information 661-822-3268.
The swimming pool will open Saturday, June 4, 2016 (weather permitting.)
SWIM PASSES - RESIDENTS ONLY
Resident punch passes are only available at the CSD office.
- $50 for 25-use punch pass
- Day Pass punch pass $3.00 per swim. (You may purchase 1-10 uses)
- 1-Day pass - $3 per swim
(Residents may purchase 1-day passes at the snack bar on Sat & Sun only from 11a- 3pm.)
FAMILY SEASON PASS
Stallion residents only
$300 for immediate family members living in the same household.
NON-RESIDENT Pass available
1-Day pass $7.00 available at the District office and Chevron
Non-resident passes NOT sold at the pool.

SWIMMING LESSONS 2016:
MOMMY & ME SWIM CLASSES
This class is designed for parent and child to participate in fun activities that will build water confidence. Basic skills will include water entry, bubble blowing, kicking and underwater exploration. One parent or caregiver per child is required. For children ages 6 months-4 years. Sign up at the District office.
REGULAR SWIM CLASSES
Sign-ups beginning 6/1/2016
$60 Residents, $80 non-residents
Session 1 - June 13th thru June 24th (two week session)
Session 2 - July 11th thru July 22nd (two week session)
GUPPIES - This class is for those with little or no experience in the water. Your child will learn basic water safety rules, arm strokes, kicks and back floats. This class will teach them to be more comfortable in the water. Ages 3-5 or VERY Beginner.
Mon-Fri 11:00 am - 11:45 am.
GOLDFISH - For those that have the basic water skills and want to learn even more. Your child will learn to retrieve objects from the bottom of the pool, tread water, front and back strokes, etc. Ages 6 and up. Mon-Fri 10:00 am - 10:45 am.
DOLPHINS - This class will teach the more advanced techniques for your child to master. Ages 8 and up. Mon-Fri 9:00 am - 9:45 am.
