Stallion Springs runs its own Parks and Recreation Department that is not part of the Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Parks Department. Contact the District office 661-822-3268 for more information.
Activities include... Free Open Gym, Skate Night, Dance Classes, Volleyball, Library Storytime, Family Movie Night, Swimming, Community Christmas, Christmas Caroling, Breakast with Santa, Kid's Craft, Exercise classes, and much more.

KIDS DAY CAMP
Summer is here and it’s time to get out and have some fun! Our Parks Dept. is offering TWO weeks of Summer Day Camp. Kids will have fun with their friends while enjoying sport activities, crafts, swimming, and more. Bring your own lunch and drink.
Ages 6-11. Sign up at CSD office.
Week 1: June 30th - July 4th
Week 2: July 28th - Aug 1st
Monday - Friday, 9a-3p @ Comm. Center
Cost: $20 per day or $90 per week, per child.
Get dressed to impress and come out for our Family Skate Nights! All ages are welcome so bring your whole family. It’s a great way to exercise, and it’s FREE!!!.

KIDS VOLLEYBALL CAMP
We are offering volleyball instruction here in Stallion! Whether you want to learn a fun sport, improve on the skills you already have, or just want to get some exercise, this is a great opportunity -- so come out for volleyball camp!
BEGINNERS: For those who have never played, we will focus on conditioning, basic skills (bumping, setting, serving) and positions. Geared toward those going into 6th-8th grade. TIME: 8:00am-9:30am COST: $60.00
ADVANCED: For those wanting to improve their technique and knowledge of the game, to include conditioning, bumping, setting, spiking and over-hand serving. Different plays and rotations that you may be asked to know for middle school tryouts.

4TH OF JULY POOL PARTY
Join us on Friday, July 4th for some fun & games at the Stallion Springs Community Pool. There will be water balloon games, pool games, races, jumping contests… you name it! You won’t want to miss out on the fun. There will be hot dogs & drinks for purchase. Come on out, cool off and enjoy your 4th of July with us.

NEW! INSANITY FITNESS CLASSES
We are pleased to announce that INSANITY fitness classes are coming to Stallion Springs! INSANITY is a high intensity, whole body workout. By using MAX interval training, INSANITY pushes you to new training heights, resulting in more calories burned, faster results, and a more efficient metabolism. Exercises are modified for all fitness levels. This class will be taught by Certified INSANITY Fitness Instructor, Cristy Libatique.
This class will be offered in a 30 and 60 minute class sessions each week.
NEW! TURBO KICK CLASS
We are pleased to announce a new fitness class on Monday nights 7:15-8:15pm.
With cardio kickboxing and body sculpting dance moves choreographed to the hottest music mixes, you'll get lean and toned--and have a blast doing it! It's high intensity, fast-paced, and fun!
DANCE CLASSES - NO SUMMER CLASSES
Tap, Jazz, Clogging, Hip Hop, Ballet, and now Line Dancing! Ages 4 thru Adult.

GUPPIES- This class is for those with little or no experience in the water. Your child will learn basic water safety rules, arm strokes, kicks and back floats. This class will teach them to be more comfortable in the water. Ages 3-5 or VERY Beginner.
Mon-Fri 11:00 am - 11:45 am.
GOLDFISH - For those that have the basic water skills and want to learn even more. Your child will learn to retrieve objects from the bottom of the pool, tread water, front and back strokes, etc. Ages 6 and up. Mon-Fri 10:00 am - 10:45 am.
DOLPHINS - This class will teach the more advanced techniques for your child to master. Ages 8 and up. Mon-Fri 9:00 am - 9:45 am.
MOMMY & ME SWIM CLASSES
August 4th - 8th only
$35 Stallion residents, $55 non-residents
This class is designed for parent and child to participate in fun activities that will build water confidence. Basic skills will include water entry, bubble blowing, kicking and underwater exploration. One parent or caregiver per child is required. For children ages 6 months-4 years. Mon-Fri 10:00 am-10:45 am.

TRUNK OR TREAT
An annual treat for the children and adults of our community, that has been enjoyed for over 18 years! Held on Halloween evening, cars line up in the gymnasium parking lot all decorated and ready to pass out candy to the children. This event is often accompanied by a haunted house, games, food, music, setup by community volunteers.
