Stallion Springs runs its own Parks and Recreation Department that is not part of the Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Parks Department.  Contact the District office 661-822-3268 for more information.
 
ACTIVITIES 
Activities include... Free Open Gym, Skate Night, Dance Classes, Volleyball, Family Movie Night, Swimming, Christmas Caroling, Breakast with Santa, Exercise Classes, and much more.

Valentine Day Card & Craft for kids

WHEN:     Friday, February 11th from 3:30-4:30 pm

WHERE:   Gymnasium

COST:      $5. Sign up at the CSD no later than Feb. 9th

Your kids can make cards and gifts for their teachers, parents and friends. All supplies will be     provided.

 

 
 
 
5th Annual Stallion Springs
CHILLY DIP
Saturday, March 14th  @ 11:00 am
@ the Community Center Pool

The Stallion Springs Parks & Recreation Department is having their annual CHILLY DIP fundraiser to help raise money for park programs and equipment. We will gather around and kick off the year with an invigorating jump in the pool! Participants will get a T-shirt and a hot “chili boat”!  Come out and support parks & rec! Cost is $12.00. Sign up in the CSD office by March 3rd to receive this year’s t-shirt. Late sign-ups $15.00 and will receive a previous year’s t-shirt (quantities are limited).

Sponsors needed. Your logo will be featured on the T-shirt. Pick up the form at the CSD office. Donations must be received by Monday, March 3, 2015.

SKATE NIGHT-ON HIATUS
Open to all ages. Helmet required if under 16 years old.  Scooters, skates and penny boards are acceptable.  Food is available for purchase.

SWIMMING LESSONS
 
MOMMY & ME SWIM CLASSES
$35 Stallion residents, $55 non-residents
 
This class is designed for parent and child to participate in fun activities that will build water confidence.  Basic skills will include water entry, bubble blowing, kicking and underwater exploration.  One parent or caregiver per child is required.  For children ages 6 months-4 years.  Mon-Fri 10:00 am-10:45 am.  Sign up at the CSD office.
 
 
SWIMMING LESSONS
$60 Stallion residents, $80 non-residents (per session, per child)
 
GUPPIES- This class is for those with little or no experience in the water.  Your child will learn basic water safety rules, arm strokes, kicks and back floats.  This class will teach them to be more comfortable in the water.  Ages 3-5 or VERY Beginner. 
Mon-Fri  11:00 am - 11:45 am.
 
GOLDFISH - For those that have the basic water skills and want to learn even more.  Your child will learn to retrieve objects from the bottom of the pool, tread water, front and back strokes, etc.  Ages 6 and up.  Mon-Fri 10:00 am - 10:45 am.
 
DOLPHINS - This class will teach the more advanced techniques for your child to master.  Ages 8 and up.  Mon-Fri 9:00 am - 9:45 am.

Rent the Community Center
