Hello and welcome to the Stallion Springs Police Department web page. The Stallion Springs Police Department was founded in 1972 and is a California Peace Officers Standards and Training accredited department.
We have a long and honorable history of protecting the citizens of the Stallion Springs community and the outlying areas.
Our officers commitment to community based policing is stellar and we consistently bring new and innovative programs to the community. These programs include gang, narcotics and ID theft awareness presentations, bicycle patrol, a Neighborhood Watch program and the Stallion Springs Police Activities League.
Our officers take part in the following enforcement efforts and activities:
- East Area Special Enforcement Team (EASET) activities including parole/probation sweeps, gang enforcement, search warrant service
- Kern AVOID drunk driving task force and checkpoints
- Bicycle patrol
- Assist the Kern County Sheriffs Office with patrol duties througout the Tehachapi area
- Provide outside agencies training in Police Mountain Biking, Gang Awareness and Tactical Firearms
The Stallion Springs Police Department provides impartial service without regard to race or social standing.
We will continue to offer individual service and friendship to all members of this community by the ready exercise of courtesy and friendly good humor.

SSPD Mission Statement

Our mandate is to do so with honor and integrity, while at all times conducting ourselves with the highest ethical standards to maintain public confidence.
