Stal- lion Springs Community during 2011.
A special thanks is given to SSTC Chair, Barry Leslie for his dedication, leadership, and hard work this past year that benefited the Stallion Springs community. During 2011 some of the activities included clearing the Grey Squirrel, Bambi, Pipeline and Elk trails. Improve- ments were made to Buckskin Park with completion of a shelter and picnic tables. An annual Poker Ride was held on October 1st.
The Stallion Springs Trail Committee (SSTC) has started planning their trail activities for 2012.
Since there has been little rain or snow this winter most trails remain in pretty good shape, however, some trail clearing activities will still be needed. Homeowners are asked to keep their equestrian easements cleared and to ensure that their easements are not be- ing encroached upon. The Trail Committee will install some additional signage at some park entrances. The Stallion Springs trail map, available at the Stallion Springs CSD office for riders and hikers to use, is in the process of being updated.
